Want to serve missionally in KW this summer? There are so many ways to serve at Wumba Kids camp!
Available Roles:
Camp Director (1 full time & 1 part time position)
Program & Special Supports Coordinator (1 position)
What does it look like?
Planning camp programing and curriculum, organization and admin, assisting camp counselors as needed, serving families, building relationships with staff and kids, discipling counselors and campers, keeping camp centered on Jesus, and much more!
Other important info:
Leadership, organizational, admin, creative, and relational skills needed
Applicants must have graduated high school and be under 30 years old (post-secondary students preferred but not required).

Day Camp Counselors (multiple positions)
What does it look like?
Planning camp programing and creatives, leading family groups of kids in grades 1-6, running various camp activities, building relationships with staff and campers, and teaching kids all about Jesus and His great love for them!

Leadership, organizational, creative, relational, and working with kids skills needed
Start date is June 22, 2026
Applicates must have completed at least grade 11 (in Spring 2026) and be under 30 years old (high-school and post-secondary students preferred but not required).

What does it look like?
Helping with leading various camp activities and doing training workshop & sessions. Building relationships with campers while growing as a leader and in your relationship with Jesus.

Students entering grades 9-11 in fall 2026 are welcome to apply.
Please have two references (no relatives please) fill out the reference form.
Volunteer role (great for high school volunteer hours!)

What does it look like?
Serving daily in camp programming for 1-4 weeks: Assisting with campers, leading activities/camp support. (adult & youth volunteers)
Behind the scenes support: Assisting with clean up, snacks, water day, preparation, covering lunch breaks etc. (adult volunteers)
