PROPOSED ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION AMENDMENT

A motion is being presented at this year's AGM to amend WMB's Articles of Incorporation. These Articles state that the number of Council members needs to fall in a range of 8 to 15. The current council is comprised of 9 members. Of these, four are completing their terms, leaving five continuing members. The Discernment Committee has identified 1 additional person to join Council. Church Council members do not work alone, but are joined by a larger Administration Committee that carries much of the Council's projects and operational tasks, join in on seeking God's direction in decision-making, and provide fellowship, allowing the Council to focus their efforts. As such, Church members will be asked to approve an amendment changing the range of Council Members from 8-15 to 6-15.
